M.A. B.D. Ph.D.- 1902 "The Mythical Serpents of Hebrew Literature" After being one of the first to achieve a Ph.D. from the University's Department of Near Eastern Studies Murison returned to replace D.W. McGee as an assistant lecturer to J.F. McCurdy from 1895- 1905. he died an early death in 1905.
