Jump to navigationJump to searchAppointed to the Faculty of Law in 1889 (with William Proundfoot, one of the initial two part-time professors in the newly- instituted Faculty. Mills had graduated from the University of Michigan law school, and specialized in constitutional and international law. He remained with the University until 1897, when he bacame federal minister of justice.
