Ian MacLean Campbell, Ph.D. (1928 - November 14 2021). Professor of Life Sciences at Scarborough College, UofT.

OBITUARY:

IAN MacLEAN CAMPBELL. Ian MacLean Campbell, 94, beloved husband of Margaret (nee McIntyre), cherished father of Douglas, Jean, Mary, and Alison, and proud grandfather of Alan, Daniel, Christopher, and Robert, died peacefully, in the early hours of November 14, 2021. Having been raised with his brothers on a farm outside Lloyminster, Alberta, Ian went on to earn a B.Sc. in Agriculture at the University of Alberta, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Entomology at the University of Toronto. He served as professor of life sciences for nearly three decades, and retired to his much-loved farmhouse near Stirling, Ontario. There will be a memorial gathering in the spring of 2022. Anyone wishing to commemorate Ian's life, is asked to donate in his honor to a charity of their choosing.
